Pomp Labs
Software for barbershops, built by a barbershop owner.
Pomp Labs builds the tools that run Sam's Barbers, a six-branch barber group in Dublin, and Pomp & Co., its grooming brand. Everything below is in use across all six shops.
What it runs
- Chair plannerEvery chair in six shops planned in one place, with the booking system kept in step. The next version, built and due in November 2026, lets self-employed barbers pick their own days and hours on their own link.
- Branch dashboardsTakings, chair hours and product sales for every branch, every morning.
- Call-out flowWhen a barber can't come in, the day is closed in the booking system and the right people are told, in one step.
- Stock and fulfilmentTrade order forms become orders and DHL shipments. Stock is counted in units and packs, never one without the other.
- Marketing autopilotGoogle Ads search words are paused, re-bid and added by themselves, with a plain-English report every Monday.
- Back officeCustomer email handling, supplier statements and invoice matching for the accountant, run on a schedule.
How it's built
Built on Claude Code and AWS since 2026, by the owner, for his own shops first. No outside funding.
What's next
The same tools are being readied for other barbershop owners. If you run a barbershop and want to talk, write to james@pomplabs.com.
